No, because they barely exist outside major newspaper op-ed pages, and there are maybe two or three of them that are actually bothered by his policies. Most of them are fascists who basically agree with him on everything, they just don’t like his particular vulgarian aesthetic. I really don’t care that editors of segregationist magazines call him a cad.
What people are also forgetting is that most of the conservatives who denounced Trump in the primaries are fully on board with him now. Dana Loesch signed an open letter denouncing him in The National Review, and now she makes agitprop videos calling for violence against all who oppose him.
So no, there is nothing comforting about Erick Erickson writing articles against Trump because he’s insufficiently theocratic in between rants about David Hogg being a crisis actor, every conservative under 70 freely joined a nihilistic white supremacist death cult of their own free will, and fascists pouting about the corrupt demagogue because he didn’t go to Yale doesn’t move me at all.
