I, for one, have a serious lust for free stuff such basic human rights, liveable wages, universal health care, affordable transportation, humane treatment of the elderly and/or disabled, and also making sure children don’t starve to death.

I volunteer at a homeless shelter and I’ve had to help people who were as old as my grandparents get out of bed (really more like a mat) in a heated festival tent and go to the bathroom.

My Mom works at a senior community center and she says the #1 thing that would help the elderly women there would be a homeless shelter for women over 50 because they don’t feel safe in ordinary shelters. These are older women who sleep on the streets because they are worried about being abused in homeless shelters.

Free care for the elderly would be amazing.
