Sunrtise on Loch Rannoch, Eilean nam Faoileag crannog is one of two Crannogs on the loch, the other is fully submerged now, it has been used variously as a clan refuge, centre of warfare and even for imprisonment, it is now simply ‘the island of the gulls’. The tower is a 19th century folly.
