This is a question for everyone who considers himself a theist:

WHY exactly do you believe in (a) god?

Any proof/examples?

If yes, please tell me.

The short answer is that science has helped a lot. I believe in G-d because life exists. The Big Bang happened and life was created. Life is such a delicate process with so many precise parts that need to fit together exactly right.

Also, it is in human nature to worship. Even if G-d does not exist, that does not make religion any less important. Religion creates understanding and structure for communities and societies to be formed.

Idk if there’s a Gd or not. IMO anything that is in any way like a divine creator (or however one wishes to call it) would be so beyond the anthropocentric way of conceptualizing the universe that whether or not it actually exists would be rather hard to comprehend much less measure and quantify.
