Once Upon a Time is over.

I came into this show, and fandom during the season three hiatus. Back when things were still fun and the ship wars hadn’t destroyed the show. Back when A&E still knew what their plot was and didn’t get starry eyes over certain characters. Back when this show was amazing. Over the years this show got bad. Got reeeeeeal bad. But we stuck around. Each of us for our own reasons, determination, spite, hot guys in leather, hot girls in corsets, etc. Our numbers may have dimmed, but we stuck around. Now the show is over and part of me is relieved. But part of me is also very sad. 

I gained some of the very best of friends because of this show and this fandom. People who I love and cherish and am SO grateful to have met. I can’t imagine my life without these people in it, and if I had to go through 20 more horrible Camelot seasons I’d do it because these people make it worth it.

So thank you Adam and Eddie. Not for this trash heap of show that gave us, but for the friends you gave us.
