One thing Ive realized from having friends with kids is that they quote memes as part of their everyday language. Ive also realized that people around my age do that as well while people ~10+ years older dont. This means people my age probably have more in common linguistically with someone who is 15 years younger compared to someone 10 years older and thats a little bit unsettling.
