A Torah scroll can not even have one letter done incorrectly or it won’t be a Torah.
A Sefer Torah can up to 8 years to write.
The amount of time and energy that goes into to making a single Torah is immense.
Torahs are so very holy and important that they their coverings are decorated with beautiful casings and even have crowns made of silver.
The Torah scroll is so very important to the Jewish people that to steal one is like stealing the soul of the Jewish community.
This is not just disgusting, but heartbreaking.
