Season 4A

Cons:

• Who are all of these people?
• I didn’t ask for this newfangled Frozen nonsense
• Why does Emilie have 900 pounds of makeup on her face?
• Why hasn’t anything actually happened yet?
• “Rumplestiltskin dealing poorly with a year of trauma? We don’t know what you’re talking about, he’s just a dick??”
• This plot is a fuckin mess
• The CGI gives me secondhand embarrassment
• Anticlimactic af

Pros:

• Robert Carlyle looks like, really really hot.

Yep, basically! I can’t find any other reason to watch this season past their dance scene in 4×01. (And for information I love to pick Gold’s heads in season 4 for my manips, he’s always grinning like naughty grins ^^).

And honestly all of the cons could apply to season 5 and 6 too (except maybe for the make-up, they did stop painting her face, thank god…). I think for me the Camelot plot in 5A was the most boring of the whole show…

Another pro: Everyone wrote really great fix-it fic for it because canon was so, so, so bad.
