All these new artists out there putting technique, musicality, and visual presentation into their work and yet people who grew up on cookie cutter pop punk bands dismiss it as “kids these days” and “just noise.” It’s the bane of my existence and dealing with it is like one of the only downsides of having a friend group with mostly older people.
