Sorry to Bother You

Is a good movie. I went to see it today at the only theater in my area where it was playing.

I came into it thinking “I’m going to love this for the art and the message but I’m also going to leave feeling like absolute shit like how I did after seeing Wolf of Wall Street” but that didn’t happen. It’s a black comedy for sure but the overall message is that everyday people matter and can do awesome things but only if they work together. It also lays bare the consequences of what happens if that doesn’t happen (the ending, as everyone is saying, is pretty weird and I’m not going to spoil it).

Go see this movie if you can.
