TFW you know you’d be mad as hell if superheroes were real.

Think about who’s gonna clean up the buildings they smash/blow up.

Think about who’s gonna pay to repair and rebuild all the public property they tear up, let alone people’s homes or the vehicles they need to get to work–oh, wait! The office got turned to rubble.

Think about who’s gonna be staffing the hospitals treating people who were injured in the latest supervillain kerfluffle.

Think about how it seems that superheroes are supposedly there to beat up bad guys while the little people clean up after their great deeds.

No wonder the Flood wiped most of the nephilim.

If Marvelverse was real life, New Yorkers would be mad as hell at the Avengers because of how backed up the subways would be after The Incident ™.

Tony Stark would always have a brick in his window and would have to move his ass somewhere else.

I won’t lie. I’d watch the hell out of a show that pits superheroes against bureaucrats. I wanna see demigods take on shit like DMV.

DMV probably knew Bruce Wayne was Batman before anybody else because why else would Alfred always be coming by to pay off dozens of parking tickets at a time for an unmarked custom vehicle with no plates?

I know politics has been very emotional recently but it would be amazing if people could tag posts that mention the H0l0caust. Thank you.

Just to be clear, I’m not against the sentiment expressed in the posts. I think it’s very much timely and warranted. I’d just prefer that they were tagged as such.

I am going to start unfollowing people over this. If this is you, know that it’s nothing personal. The posts just create some weird feelings for me that I would guess are related to intergenerational trauma.

i see your Friends to Lovers trope and raise you Lovers Back to Friends. because healthy, amicable breakups are good and sometimes your ex can still be your good buddy

you wild for thinking anyone on this website has ever broken up without also destroying no less than three friend groups and generating six callout posts in the process
