Fuck Tilda, marry Claire, get drunk with Misty
Shades and Mariah:
Do they sleep together? I mean literally? Does Mariah kick him out of bed always or do they spoon and what not?
Oh, so I have a theory on that! I’ve always imagined that in the beginning of their relationship, he’d do his normal sneak in the house thing, and then creep out at like 5 A.M. Just to make sure he’s respectful of Mariah’s space/privacy.
Eventually as time went on (and as more people found out) he’d stay later or just head home with her from the club. Eventually one morning when he got up to leave, Mariah snapped at him to get his skinny ass back into bed.
as an indigenous person i’ve noticed a consistently colonialist analysis of indigenous people by post-left anti-civ anarchists who keep positing us and our societies as being somehow “outside of civilisation” even though our societies were and are structured by social relations explicable in terms of relations of production and a corresponding ideological superstructure. this is precisely how colonial accounts of our societies have always set us aside as somehow primally “other” and primitivists perform the exact same racist, reductionist maneuver, simply adding ‘and I think that’s a good thing’ to the end of it.
these people cite racist european anthropologists who say shit like our societies are “passionately committed to violence” and then act all outraged when we point out this is the exact same colonial, racist nonsense that imperialists have always been saying about indigenous people, and their own ideological relation to the racist lies they’re telling about us don’t make those things no longer racist or no longer lies.

Yes, today is Tu B’Av!
Tu B’Av (the 15th of Av) is celebrated as a holiday of love. It does not have many
associated customs. In more modern times it has become similar to
Valentine’s Day, a day for weddings or vows of love.Shabbat begins at sundown.
Tomorrow is Pride Day in my area so this is perfect ♡♡♡
Petsmart is selling wild caught reptiles.
I work at a Banfield inside a California Petsmart location. Last night one of their pet care employees was discussing which snakes need to see our vets. Multiple snakes from a three species were refusing it eat. One of the long term techs there (I’m a new transfer from an out of state stand alone) said they should try buying live and feeding it. After the petsmart employee left I asked a few questions regarding the seemingly large number of unhealthy Petsmart pets we had to treat at our clinic.
That’s when my coworker said many snakes were wild caught. Sceptical at first, I asked how she knew. I know some snakes just won’t touch frozen meals. Turns out, the ladies had a blood sample sent in for analysis and it came back that the snake had a disease not seen in captive bred reptiles. One top of that, most snakes were very aggressive.
Lunging out at people, yet not touching frozen food. Turning around and eating live. Diseases only found in wild caught reptiles. Signs of stress long after being in an established tank. Constantly sick. To me this is extremely strong evidence that the animal supplier my location uses is selling us wild caught snakes.
Why is this bad? Well beyond snakes being sick, you also have to worry about people and the wild population. I don’t want to contribute depleting natural populations due to the pet trade. Then you have people who adopt these pets only to have them die. A lot of people get their first snake from Petsmart and won’t know the signs of an unhealthy one. Many would not seek vet care, or if they did, it would be too late. Obviously aggressive snakes are more likely to bite. This can cause the snake to no only scare a person and draw a little blood, it can hurt or even kill the snake.
Petsmart was alerted about our findings and they don’t care. Banfield isn’t owned my Petsmart so there isn’t much we can do. I just found this to be something the general public should know. The company doesn’t care, but you might. If your looking to buy any animal, look at breeders or rescue first. Snake breeders are easy to find online. They ship. Their prices for common morphs are often lower than petsmart. You will get a better quality snake bred in captivity to be docile and healthy.

This is what I was talking about when I said that moving the Overton window even slightly left would expose conservatism for how horrific it is. Arguing against bureaucratic liberalism is easy, and it is easy to mold that conversation in a way that makes the conservative sound like the voice of the “everyman.”
Arguing against providing healthcare and education to people is extremely difficult, and will basically force conservatives to admit that they dont actually care about people at all.
Arguably one of the most important aspects of Black Panther was that there were no white voices there to silence or derail the conversation about racism in America. So often as black people we have to spend our time simply trying to convince white people that racism exists rather than talking about the racism itself. But in Black Panther, t he statement was made that Black People in America were suffering under a racist system and there was no voice to dispute that. There was no one there to silence that truth, which allowed us to have a conversation about pain and solutions rather than simply trying to prove that racism exists.
A Major Bank Slipped Up And Showed Why Women Rarely File Sex Discrimination Cases
Of all the tactics companies use to silence women who speak up about sexual harassment, the way corporate lawyers question victims in depositions may be the most brutal.
In these taped confrontations, defense lawyers interrogate people on every aspect of their sexual histories, medical records and traumas from childhood.
Rarely do the depositions in civil cases get broad public attention. But this week, the Sydney Morning Herald obtained a transcript from a deposition that revealed exactly how lawyers for a major Australian bank, ANZ, grilled a former female employee.
Enilolobo Malika Oyo, a black woman who worked as a vice president in investment banking at ANZ’s New York office in 2013 and 2014, sued the bank in federal court in 2016 for sexual and racial discrimination — claims ANZ disputes. Oyo is seeking a multimillion-dollar payout.
Oyo had asked the Sydney Morning Herald not to publish her name, but after details of her lawsuit and deposition became news, she decided to go public. Her lawyers sent a statement to HuffPost on Monday night in which she shared her thoughts.
“One of the reasons I brought this lawsuit was to make sure that ANZ knows that it is not OK to treat the victims of discrimination like they are the ones who should be ashamed,” she said. “I know I have nothing to be sorry for.”
