Many years ago, way back in the beginning of season 2 of Once Upon a Time, I fell into the Rumbelle corner of the fandom and it was great.
I’ve mostly fallen back out of the fandom and I’ve mostly fallen off Tumblr entirely except to check in occasionally. But I am missing my early fandom days right now. Who of my old Rumbelle/RMC buddies is still out there? I miss you lot.
When you take a break from Tumblr for a couple months and come back to find zero people missed you.
TOTALLY NOT TRUE. I missed you! I would have missed you sooner, if I didn’t follow waaaaaay too many blogs (seriously, I’m trying to cut down–I’ve got it down to less than 800)! I can’t keep track of everyone. I’m sorry!
I took a break myself from about March-September last year because I hated life and I felt like being here meant infecting my misery onto everyone else, and I came back feeling much the same (I remember being like ‘everyone probably forgot about me entirely’) so I can sympathize with how you feel.
That being said, I cut down the number of people I was following by about half because I hated how I was NEVER seeing posts anymore from long-term mutuals in the Rumbelle fandom and you were definitely one of the people I had in mind when I did that. I honestly had no idea you were taking a break though, I just thought your posts were being buried in the glut of random crap that was flooding my dash all the time from people who had no idea who I even am!
Welcome back! I don’t think much has really changed tbh. Except…there’s a new RC fan named @sieben9 who might want to meet you!
