People wouldn’t say “oh plz protect my poor baby Ben, he’s suffering”, treat him like a 13 year old child even though he is 30, or ship him with Rey after he kidnapped her, tortured her, force pushed her into a tree, killed her father figure, almost killed her close friend, manipulated her, said that she was “nothing, except to him”, tried to convince her to abandon her friends, ordered her to be blown out of the sky, and then threatened to destroy her…because they touched hands…nope.
And if Finn had looked like this.
People would probably think he’s the new Luke Skywalker, shit, even I would. There would be no question that he is the male lead of the trilogy, he wouldn’t be shrunken or removed in posters, removed from trailers entirely, he would have more merchandise, the Finn Skywalker and Force Sensitive Finn theories would be through the roof, Finnrey would be the most popular ship, probably even canon by the end of the first movie.
Finn’s sexual awakening took place while he lived a crowded barracks amidst like a hundred other people, and Rey’s sexual awakening took place while she lived in an abandoned AT-AT miles away from anyone else, so Finn’s approach to masturbation is like “be still, be quiet, pretend you are still asleep and nothing is happening under this blanket, what could possibly be happening under this blanket? nothing because I’m asleep,” and Rey’s is like “time for screaming, it is scream time”
Which means they first time they combine their mutual sexual experience, it just stops halfway through so they can both be like, “UMMM SO I’M HAVING A GREAT TIME BUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING”
i made this for the one hundredth finnrey friday! the theme is treasure/found family– finn and rey obviously got found family covered and then i tried to like incorporate a treasurey vibe with the kyber crystals and garlands
this is actually my first time painting (as opposed to like lineart and flat colors) in forever and i’m really really happy with how it turned out! ^_^ definitely gonna do this style again

the emotional electromagnetic spectrum is an energy field that is fueled by the emotions of all sentient beings. inadvertently, sentient beings created seven unique forms of energy based on their emotions, with a color unique to the emotion. indigo is a color that represents the emotion of compassion. the indigo light can be wielded by one with great compassion for other beings, and can manipulate the other energies of the emotional spectrum.
blue is a color that represents the emotion of hope. the blue light is capable of being wielded by a being who can bring hope for the future to others when they have lost all of theirs. the blue light is the most powerful wave of the spectrum, but it is also the most difficult to wield and understand.
