I’m curious how Black Lightning will handle the passage of time.

Like suppose its season 4 or so and Jennifer is 18. Will they do a plot about her going to college? Will she pick a school away from home and have to hide her powers while she’s there?

Okay, can I just say that I love how Anissa wants to save the world, be a larger-than-life-advocate, help everyone and take everything on, and Jennifer just wants a normal teenage life, to go to prom, go to college, get married, and be a mother, and NEITHER GIRLS ARE SHAMED FOR THE RESPECTIVE PATHS THEY WANT TO TAKE. Neither one gets put down to make the other one’s choices look better. Both of their choices are recognized as valid life choices that they have the autonomy and self-awareness to make.
