My aunt used to write horoscopes for the newspaper as a part time job. She had a friend in college who a)always read that newspapers horoscope and b)didn’t know my aunt wrote it. So whenever the friend had a shitty episode my aunt would make her horoscope as positive as possible to cheer her up. Long story short they recently got married and are both my aunts now.

when i was younger i kinda found it embarrassing that i liked older women and i felt kinda defensive about it but now that i’m slightly less young i think it’s actually a part of my Gayness that i think i should appreciate? like, you look at straight men and to them women might as well be fucken dead after 30 or 35. but to lesbians women don’t have an expiration date. the qualities of age that repulse straight men as a sign of women’s experience and maturity are attractive to lesbians because we value women’s experiences.

i dont think its bad if lesbians only want to date lesbians or bi women only want to date bi women (given neither group is biphobic/lesbophobic toward the other). both have many similarities and of course are more similar than we are different but each do have their differences and i dont think its bad for people to want to be with those they share experiences with

I’m curious what anon would consider to be a tangible difference between a lesbian and a bi woman that could, hypothetically, make someone want to only date one or the other without being either lesbophobic or biphobic.
