Normally we see Latin American actors playing gangsters and drug dealers, yet since you emerged on the big screen you’ve been playing characters that often reserved for white guys. How did you do that? Tenacity, I’d say. Making an effort to not allow myself to be typecast in that way, going after roles that, like you said, maybe people would not think of me for right away. Proving that a good actor can transcend limitations and the imaginations of casting directors.
