Since the series is ending, I really wanted to list out some gay things Adam and Eddy fucked up by ignoring, and they gave me an ideal format to do so in! So without further ado:
25. That purple lipstick Drizella was wearing. Alternatively: just Drizella generally. You can’t parallel Regina that much and be straight.
24. That OUTFIT Maleficent wore in Storybrooke uhm okay okay OkaY
23. Belle and Ariel’s homoerotic scene before Ariel swam out to sea
22. Ursula acting real tough but letting Rumple sleep on her couch. Sounds like a lesbian to me.
21. Regina watching Guinevere walk into the ballroom.
20. “Tonight, Rumplestiltskin’s my fairy godmother! Father…? Whatever.”
19. That long look between Merida and Belle as she rowed out to sea wow Belle really is out here having An Aesthetic when it comes to the ladies!!
18. I just feel like Jefferson has to be on here tbh.
17. Why did Regina run up to Emma like that in Season 1 when Henry was trapped in the mine why did they shoot it like that WHY?
16. Roderick gave his life so Middle America could better understand what a Power Bottom is.
15. When Rumple inhaled Charming’s cloak in Season 1 and then wore it around.
14. When Regina told Zelena she’d raise Robin if something happened to her, and Emma was like, “and I will ALSO!”
13. Cruella and Ursula…were sleeping together.
12. That whole Lily and Emma story
11. Charming is bi. Clearly. I don’t have to elaborate.
10. Emma’s face when she looked at the storybook’s picture for Ruby/Dorothy.
9. Rumple’s adoptive witch moms who looked like they wanted to murder Malcolm at all times and finished each other’s sentences. Gay icons.
8. Gideon Gold being so blatantly in love with Roderick
7. Regina and Maleficent…were sleeping together.
6. The rom-com zoom in Season 3 between Emma and Regina.
5. That scene in Neal’s apartment in Season 5 between Emma and Regina.
4. Emma and Elsa doing that rainbow magic with their hands as Emma accepted who she was.
3. When Regina gave Emma memories of Henry I’M!!
2. Mulan. Just. Mulan. Being gay. All the time. Where is her girlfriend. Where.

Why do you think Adam & Eddy already have a new job? Does that always go that quickly?
Because they managed to keep a rather special fantasy show (special as in it’s extremely hard to create long lasting fantasy series with a complex ongoing plots. There is a reason most TV shows are crime or medical dramas) on the air for 7 years making it one of the most successful TV series ABC ever had.
And they kept up a good reputation over the years as far as working conditions/attitude go. I’m not surprised they landed another job.
I really can’t emphasize enough how important the reputation of Once’s set was. There’s a lot of critically acclaimed shows that are nightmarish work environments. Once ran for seven years and was evidently a wonderful set to work for.
Look no further than the caliber of guests the show attracted. Barbara Hershey didn’t keep coming back because she couldn’t get other work.
Once Upon a Time is over.
I came into this show, and fandom during the season three hiatus. Back when things were still fun and the ship wars hadn’t destroyed the show. Back when A&E still knew what their plot was and didn’t get starry eyes over certain characters. Back when this show was amazing. Over the years this show got bad. Got reeeeeeal bad. But we stuck around. Each of us for our own reasons, determination, spite, hot guys in leather, hot girls in corsets, etc. Our numbers may have dimmed, but we stuck around. Now the show is over and part of me is relieved. But part of me is also very sad.
I gained some of the very best of friends because of this show and this fandom. People who I love and cherish and am SO grateful to have met. I can’t imagine my life without these people in it, and if I had to go through 20 more horrible Camelot seasons I’d do it because these people make it worth it.
So thank you Adam and Eddie. Not for this trash heap of show that gave us, but for the friends you gave us.

Season 2, Episode 4: The Crocodile
This is really hard to choose! Probably 5×21 reunion because it’s what sparked my interest in the first place.
So many, but a few particular standouts are that opening shot of Prince Charming racing down the jetty to find Snow White, the first time the clock moves, Captain Hook clicking his hook into place and yelling NEVERLAND!, the CS hand bandage scene ofc, and the CS wedding! :’)))))
For me, nothing beats the entire scene towards the end of 3×22. Rumbelle wedding, cs first (real ) kiss,snowing and baby, happy outlaw queen…it’s just so beautiful.

You put your finger right on Zelena’s important points: yes, she’s more powerful than Regina, but she’s also … well … unhinged. She has no
impulse control, and is needlessly mean and petty. As well as being
deluded enough to blame people for injuries for which they are in no way
at fault. “I’m going to hate Regina and ruin her life” because Regina
got what Zelena wanted. Regina didn’t know you EXISTED you moron! She’d
have handed the job of Mommy’s Punching Bag over in a second if she’d
had a chance!Like I said: the witch fight was a very good showcase of exactly that dynamic. Yes, Zelena could have won on sheer strength alone, but she can’t get what she wants, because Regina literally gave away a part of herself for someone else to keep safe. I meean, it hardly gets more on-the-nose than that. (Also, Regina actually has the intestinal fortitude to taunt an enemy who’s not locked in a cage, but that’s neither here nor there. Just imagine me waving little red cheerleading flags during that entire scene ::cough::)
You cannot believe how hard I tried not to say “you and Cora deserve each other” in the main post. (Because, while I do like to hate on Zelena, nobody deserves to have Cora inflicted on them, especially not as a child.) And I doubt that’s accidental. Zelena doesn’t actually want what Regina has, she just wants the perfect, idealised version she made up in her head.

Its a good fic. @toseehowthestoryends makes all the characters and ships on the show actually make sense.
Many years ago, way back in the beginning of season 2 of Once Upon a Time, I fell into the Rumbelle corner of the fandom and it was great.
I’ve mostly fallen back out of the fandom and I’ve mostly fallen off Tumblr entirely except to check in occasionally. But I am missing my early fandom days right now. Who of my old Rumbelle/RMC buddies is still out there? I miss you lot.
