If we get another economic crisis in 2018, anarchists and socialists need to push their ideas out as hard as possible. A crisis now, while nationalism and fascism continue to gain traction, could be fatal if we aren’t careful.

This means setting our own agendas rather than fighting on the battlegrounds the right-wingers set. Gaining public attention. Organizing in wide partnerships. Setting up massive strikes, across trades, in solidarity. Pushing for radical politics without complicated labels. Being comprehensible, yet well-prepared and as transparent as can be – while staying safe. It means connecting class issues and identity issues, thinking them together, rather than coining them against each other. It means being there and open for everyone. It means not being afraid to fight.
