While the Defenders were blowing up Midland Circle, Shades was blowing up Mariah’s midland circle 👀

And they made a show about the wrong one.

You ain’t wrong…

I would’ve loved a show just about the marvel villains scheming together. Mariah and Fisk and whatever Sigourney Weaver’s character’s name was. Even a quick cartoon short, where they are in a cabal for control of the city but they’re always sabotaging each other.

Alexandra was such a bitch, she and Mariah could have and should have been catty together. I wish that happened. Also Mariah and Madame Gao.

Plus I want Mariah and Fisk interactions and verbal sparring so badly it’s not even funny.

 You already have at least ¾ being involved in politics/city planning/social politics so that’s that right there.

S1 Is drudgery bc the titular character is made of corn and outdaded respectability politics one-liners. But I watch for the otp, #ShadyMariah and for Diamondback and Cottonmouth.

But drudgery binging demands breaks.

Black Lightning is way better when it comes to the titular character. You can tell he actually cares.

And I feel like I could go on a whole rant on what’s wrong with Luke Cage (show and character). I love the show, and it’s great, but it’s got some problems.

Yeah I think the music esp in s1 covered a lot of them up in addition to some Stella performances from supporting staff (villains), but the main cast of characters were written badly semi regularly.

I spend most of my time for scenes with [character] during S1 glancing at my phone tbqh
