The Incredibles 2 said “hell” and “I’ll be damned,” also had several scenes with alcoholic beverages. Preview was talking about the 14 year wait. This movie was MADE for kids born from 1990-2002 and not your crying 5 year old, sorry I don’t make the rules
yall are so like. weird like have you ever heard of things being made to be enjoyed by both kids and adults. like what’s yall’s deal with kids
plenty of kids’ movies used to have more “adult” content, because filmmakers didn’t treat kids like they were made of glass. see also: Casper (1995), which featured “bitch” and “piss off” as well as a main character getting drunk and a visual reference to one of the scarier parts of The Exorcist. it doesn’t mean the movie isn’t for kids; it means the writers are trusting kids to be as sophisticated mentally as they really are
(before I got to the last line of the original post, that’s what I thought OP meant. that the movie seemed made for Milennials because it had the slightly more mature subject matter kids’ movies were allowed to have when we were young)

I just got back from seeing the 2nd Incredibles movie. Ignore everyone
who says that they turned Bob into a joke and made him look incompetent
at parenting. He was for like the first few days but was able to get
better at it with some learning and help, which I think is realistic
more than anything else.
