Alright my sweet American followers, I’m visiting the US in May and June! I’d love to hear your recommendations for places to eat/drink and things to do in the places I’m gonna visit. Of course I’d love to cram in some WWII stuff so the National WWII Museum in New Orleans and the war memorials in Washington are already on my list.

I’d love suggestions for New York (3 days), Philadelphia (2 days), Washington (2 days), Charleston SC (2 days), Charlotte NC (5 days, 2 in Asheville), Birmingham, Alabama (1 day) and New Orleans (4 days)! Spotting alligators? Canoeing on the bayou? Historical sites? Best local cuisine? Museums?

Giiirrrl when are you gonna be in New York? @herzdieb and I are gonna be in NYC in early May!!

You’re going to be spending a lot of time in the car with that trip. I would make sure you have podcasts and similar on your phone for when you’re driving.

While you’re in Philly I’d recommend going to Carpenter’s Hall, Independence Hall, Ben Franklin’s old house/print shop, and, if you like creepy things, the Mutter Museum. Since you’re only going to be there for 2 days, I would recommend skipping the Liberty Bell as it is a chore/time sink to get tickets and wait in line to see it.
